Cpr Classes

Master Train offers CPR classes for those who are required to know CPR as part of their jobs and who use CPR as part of patient care. Master Train is one of the most advanced clinical simulation centers which is able to provide those in the medical profession with a range of medical training solutions, which are targeted specifically to meet the demands of all healthcare professionals. All mannequins who are used in the CPR classes are anatomically correct and our mannequins are also fitted with computer chips which will monitor the CPR student's performance with regards to ventilation and chest compression quality. The mannequins used during the classes are also able to generate carotid pulses. During the CPR classes, the students will be taught how to deliver oxygen during CPR with the aid of pocket mask as well as bag-valve mask and in addition, the CPR classes will show students how to offer relief to patients who have ingested foreign objects, and which are causing breathing distress. The CPR classes will focus on the importance of the students learning to work together as a team and as such, they will be trained to offer patient care in realistic settings. The CPR classes will take place in a learning lab and this lab is an exact replica of an emergency room and the lab has been fitted with all the relevant ER equipment and supplies, thus, allowing students of CPR classes to gain a feel for a real-life medical emergency environment.

The CPR classes last for four hours and once the classes have been completed the students will be awarded with a CPR Health Provider Card and a written examination will need to be taken once the CPR classes are over and students will need to attain an 85% pass rate. Owing to the fact that Master Train is able to provide realistic CPR classes as well as training PALS and ACLS, our classes are attended by physicians, nurses as well as allied healthcare professionals from all over the country and our advanced training facility is situated in San Antonio, Texas. For over a decade, Master Training has been providing continued education in CPR to many in the San Antonio medical community, and dozens of EMS staff opt to undergo CPR training at Master Train, due to the realistic settings and hands-on CPR classes which are offered. The success of our training has allowed Master Train to become the top facilities in CPR and PALS training in San Antonio and annually, Master Train offers training to more than 5,000 medical professionals.
