Advanced Cardiac Life Support Master Train's state-of-the-art training facility is located in San Antonio, Texas and is conveniently placed a few blocks from the airport and just across the street from The Comfort Inn Suites. Master Train realizes that human resuscitation is a most serious business and the training offered will build confident behavior and skills which will have impact on patients. Master Train offers the most realistic, hands-on, advanced cardiac life support training to be found in the country and physicians, nurses and allied healthcare professionals travel from all over the country to attend courses. Twice a month, Master Train offers an advanced cardiac life support prep class. During the four hour long advanced cardiac life support prep class students will learn how to interpret sixteen basic rhythms, both static strips as well as dynamic presentation. In addition, students of the advanced cardiac life support prep class will review pharmacology as it relates to advanced cardiac life support patient care. Master Train also arranges time to be spent in the learning lab to cover equipment that will be used in the ACLS Provider's course. Master Train's learning lab is a replica of an emergency room with fully functional equipment and well stocked with supplies. Master Train's course overview includes multiple learning activities such as instructor-led discussions, instructor-led skills practice and course evaluation. During the two days of training, students learn and practice the skills of advanced cardiac life support and they will spend a considerable portion of their time in the learning lab working as a team, providing patient care to the human patient simulator. Master Train has constructed twenty-eight case scenarios that students practice to reinforce the advanced cardiac life support cases. Each scenario is designed to enhance the knowledge objectives of advanced cardiac life support and is presented in real time. Students are assigned to different team positions and learn to become proficient at each. Students rotate through the different positions throughout the twenty hours of training. The continuing nursing education activity was approved by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. The doors of the Master Train Clinical Simulation Center were opened in May 1998 for the express purpose of offering continuing education hours to the San Antonio and surrounding areas EMS community. Discovering from the EMS and Fire Department that the Internet was the preferred choice for most EMTs to receive needed hours Master Train began to market advanced cardiac life support courses to the San Antonio Healthcare community of physicians and nurses and included BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, IV Therapy and a six day course of CPR for healthcare providers. With these changes and the inclusion of continuation education for physicians and nurses, Master Train provides training for 5,000 medical professionals each year. The committed mission of Master Train is to train people how to respond quickly and appropriately in an emergency situation. Master Train offers Certification in advanced cardiac life support, Recertification and Basic ECG with requirements posted on each respective page. best cellphone plan
